Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Cashier and Stock Associate and enhance the shopping experience for our customers. In this role, you will be engaged in a variety of tasks, including processing transactions, organizing shelves, maintaining store cleanliness, and delivering exceptional customer service. Position Type: Part-Time Average Hours: Under 30 hours per week Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour Wage Increases: Year 2 - $19.00 | Year 3 - $19.50 | Year 4 - $19.50 | Year 5 - $20.50

Duties and Responsibilities: All duties can be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.

Cashier Duties:

• Process customer purchases efficiently and maintain a clean area.
• Stock shelves and arrange merchandise displays attractively.
• Provide top-notch customer service while assisting shoppers.
• Report any product issues and inventory discrepancies to management.
• Assist in inventory counts and follow cash handling procedures.

Stock Associate Duties:

• Ensure shelves are stocked with fresh products and rotate stock appropriately.
• Follow planograms to create visually appealing displays.
• Organize new shipments and handle packaging waste effectively.
• Operate machinery safely while adhering to all safety protocols.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires regular movement including standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, and walking throughout the store. Stock Associates must be able to lift and place items weighing up to 45 pounds at various heights.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Capable of delivering friendly and prompt customer service.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness to company standards.
• Good communication skills with both customers and coworkers.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Effective time management skills.
• Knowledge of products and services offered.

Cashier Specific Requirements:

• Experience operating a cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Comply with state and local laws regarding alcohol sales.

Stock Associate Specific Requirements:

• Ability to operate equipment including electric/manual hand jacks and floor scrubbers safely.
• Morning availability is essential, with shifts starting as early as 5:00 a.m.

Educational Background:

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with prior experience in a retail setting. A combination of relevant education and experience is acceptable.
