Job Title: Material Handler Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the organization of the inventory store and conducting cycle counts. You will issue materials out of the stockroom and kit special projects, including PCP, Sales Orders, ECN, NCR, and RMA. Your duties will involve accurately picking, counting, and labeling parts for production operations according to pick lists, documenting shortage information, and entering data into SAP. Additionally, you will audit and re-shelve returned kits while following materials handling and ESD control procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain inventory store organization and conduct cycle counts.

  • Issue materials out of the stockroom and kit special projects such as PCP, Sales Orders, ECN, NCR, and RMA.

  • Accurately pick, count, and label parts for production operations according to pick lists.

  • Document shortage information and enter data into SAP.

  • Audit and re-shelve returned kits.

  • Follow materials handling and ESD control procedures.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory management.

  • Proficiency in computer skills and familiarity with Windows.

  • Ability to handle materials effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.

  • Organized and detail-oriented.

  • Computer literacy, with Oracle 11i experience considered an advantage.

  • Previous electronic manufacturing experience is an asset.

  • Flexibility to work overtime, including daily and weekly, when necessary.

Work Environment

Enjoy working in a clean, indoor, and climate-controlled environment. Collaborate closely with a small team of 4-5 colleagues. The dress code is casual, allowing jeans, t-shirts, and tennis shoes.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plano, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
