Kia of Plano (Central Kia of Plano) is looking to add a qualified Service Porter to our team. The Service Porter is responsible for moving, parking, cleaning, keeping vehicles in sound working condition. This individual's focus is to accommodate the Service Department to assist with the needs of service customers at the Technicians', Service Advisors' and/or Manager's request.

Employee Prerequisites:

  • Streamlined onboarding process
  • Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles; Capability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed.
  • Great attitude and flexible schedule
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Ability to understand and comprehend simple, maintenance instructions.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Drive vehicles to and from service lanes, service stalls, and parking lot as required. The Porter will examine vehicle cleanliness, damage, and compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Perform vehicle damage inspections and track discrepancies of the vehicles.
  • Maintain the appearance of the customer's vehicle while being serviced and guarantee the dealership vehicle inventory's quality and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles.
