Home Service Technician

TruBlue of Frisco, Prosper, & Celina is hiring for a full-time Home Service Technician (Handyman/Handywoman/Contractor). Role Overview

The Home Service Technician is responsible for performing a variety of home repair and maintenance services with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. This role is ideal for a skilled tradesperson who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and providing excellent service to homeowners and businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general handyman tasks including: minor carpentry (doors, trim, framing), drywall repair and painting, basic plumbing (toilet installs, faucet replacement, leak fixes), basic electrical (switch/outlet replacement, light fixture installs), tile, flooring, and other general repairs
  • Arrive on time, in uniform, with the proper tools and equipment
  • Communicate professionally with customers before, during, and after jobs
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe at all times
  • Support the Lead Technician as needed
  • Maintain tools and company vehicle (if provided)
  • Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and time spent on jobs

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Passionate about delivering great customer experiences
  • 2-5 years of hands-on home repair, maintenance, or construction experience
  • Proficient in multiple trades (e.g., carpentry, general maintenance, light plumbing, light electrical, painting, drywall, tiling)
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or on a team
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Some experience in project estimating or quoting jobs preferred
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and standard tools
  • Fluent in English and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
