Resource Teacher

The Resource Teacher plays a vital support role in our school. This position is responsible for assisting across multiple classrooms as neededhelping with breaks, transitions, curriculum activities, and classroom coverage. This is a great role for someone who is versatile, proactive, and passionate about working with young children of all ages.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support in infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms as needed
• Maintain continuity of care and classroom routines
• Assist with classroom activities, supervision, and transitions
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment in each room
• Collaborate with lead teachers and administrators to meet classroom needs
• Step into classrooms for breaks, planning periods, or staffing needs
• Help maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CDA or coursework in ECE preferred
• Previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare setting
• Flexible, dependable, and enthusiastic team player
• Ability to adapt quickly to different classrooms and age groups
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong communication skills and a passion for supporting young learners
