This pivotal role as Mechanical Assembler - Team Lead immerses you in a high-stakes manufacturing environment, where you'll lead a team in the meticulous assembly of repairing radio frequency systems on a large scale. This position is located in McKinney, TX.

What You Will Do

  • Transform designs into reality. Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions to ensure precision in assembly and production.
  • Master the tools of the trade. Operate hand tools, electrical tools, hand cutters, measuring equipment, and light equipment with skill and accuracy.
  • Stay organized and efficient. Maintain an accurate inventory of products in workstations to keep production on track.
  • Ensure quality at every step. Perform meticulous quality checks, identify defects, and document findings to uphold high standards.
  • Adapt and innovate. Rework and repair assembled equipment and products based on engineering specification changes.
  • Prioritize safety and excellence. Perform all tasks in compliance with quality standards and established safety protocols.
  • Contribute to a safe workspace. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area for yourself and your team.
  • Meet physical demands. Lift up to 25 lbs as needed and work in a standing position for up to 10 hours per day to maintain production efficiency.
  • Perform additional job duties as assigned.


Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires HS diploma(or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or
  • vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
  • Experience working in assembly/manufacturing environment
  • U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract


Qualifications We Prefer
  • Experience soldering microcircuits.
  • Experience interpreting drawing and blueprints.
  • Great oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in an ESD environment.
  • Great collaboration and teamwork skills.
