Client Overview: Microsoft is seeking a talented and experienced Talent Operations Coordinator to join their Talent Operations Coordinators team. The team plays a crucial role in talent acquisition and management, focusing on inclusive hiring practices and ensuring the global employee network reflects Microsoft's mission of empowering everyone to achieve more.
Role Summary: As a Talent Operations Coordinator 2, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining hiring requisition data, serving as the point of contact for new and backfill requests, coordinating with recruiters and hiring managers, ensuring data accuracy, scheduling candidate screenings, tracking and reporting hiring details, and addressing inquiries from various stakeholders. This role offers a unique opportunity to have a tangible impact on a global organization, supporting an aggressive hiring ramp and developing best practices.
Creation and maintenance of all hiring requisition data.
Point of contact for new and backfill request/approval process.
Collaboration with recruiters, hiring managers, and administrators to create requisitions.
Ensure data accuracy across all systems and keep relevant contacts informed.
Partner with hiring managers to schedule candidate screenings.
Track and report end-to-end details for open and ongoing hiring.
Answer and solve hiring manager, candidate, and recruiter questions.
MUST-Have Skills and Qualifications:
3+ years of demonstrated work experience in a fast-paced environment in a related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, solid problem-solving abilities, and strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage a high volume of requests efficiently.
Ability to implement and monitor complex plans and schedules.
Proactive identification and escalation of issues as needed.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build relationships.
Ability to prioritize, work independently, and adjust direction in response to changing priorities.
High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Previous experience in a recruiting coordinator role.
Previous experience as a project manager or in operations.
Knowledge of Employee Central and iCIMS.
