Reading Interventionist

Location: Remote (U.S. Based)

Schedule: MondayFriday, 7:45 AM 4:45 PM

Language Requirement: Must be fluent in Spanish

Certification Requirement: Valid Teaching Certificate

Stride Learning Solutions is seeking a dedicated and experienced Reading Interventionist to support students in a virtual learning environment. This role focuses on delivering targeted reading interventions to students who are performing below grade level, with an emphasis on bilingual learners. The ideal candidate is passionate about literacy, skilled in virtual instruction, and committed to helping students achieve academic growth through personalized support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Onboard new teachers and provide pre-planning training
• Support and mentor a team of teachers in instructional delivery, classroom management, and student engagement.
• Learn and apply the full K12 elementary curriculum, ensuring alignment with Texas state standards.
• Collaborate with school leadership to support instructional planning, data analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Facilitate virtual ARD/IEP meetings and collaborate with special education staff as needed.
• Communicate high expectations for student achievement and model best practices in online instruction.
• Lead professional development sessions and team meetings to support instructional growth.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• Valid teaching certification.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a virtual or blended setting.
• Demonstrated leadership experience (e.g., mentor teacher, instructional coach, grade-level lead).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience using student information systems (SIS) and learning management systems (LMS).
• Ability to pass a federal background check and obtain a T1 Personnel Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education or Educational Leadership.
• Experience working with English Language Learners and diverse student populations.
• Experience supporting adults and children in the use of educational technology.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new digital tools and platforms.

Work Environment

• This is a fully remote position open to residents of the 50 U.S. states and D.C.
• Requires reliable internet access and a dedicated workspace.
• Occasional travel for professional development or team collaboration may be required
