Big Data Engineer with Java/AWS

Plano, TX (Hybrid role, looking for nearby candidates) W2 Contract Only

Big data engineer with AWS experience / Java Python - combination of both More emphasis on Java side. Spark - EMR and Glue to some extent. Nice to have - Snowflake experience. Blend of the above skills 2 featured teams with 8 people each. with all levels of experience. Team is building a new platform for Credit Card data. Great opportunity for candidates that want new development. Can make a big impact with the bank. They are building two scrum teams to work on development for the platform.

Must haves:

• Very Strong Java. Looking for true software engineering skill set.
• Experience working with large data sets, ETL, or applications that do high-volume data collection.
• Spring Boot Spark or other large scale data processing AWS should have S3, EMR, and/or Glue. Cert not required but would be expected for 603 level candidate.
• RDBMS SQL
• Nice to have: Python / PySpark Data lake experience Credit Card application development experience Snowflake Terraform GraphQL
