This position will identify and advocate for policies at the state and federal levels that support the adoption of distributed energy resources, energy efficient technologies, and other home improvements. The role will focus on compensation mechanisms for distributed energy resources at both the retail and wholesale levels, with an emphasis on California. The successful candidate must be a self-starter who is comfortable working directly with policymakers and representing GoodLeap in public forums. Must have experience participating in regulatory proceedings and legislative actions. Major activities include assisting in the development of policy briefings, comment letters, white papers, and regulatory filings, as well as identifying and evaluating important regulatory and policy changes that could impact GoodLeap's existing and planned business strategies.
Compensation: $180,000 - $200,000 annually
