Wealth Builder Investment Counselor

  2025-11-04     Fisher Investments     Pilot Point,TX
Description:

Are you driven by a passion for helping others? Do you aspire to build a rewarding career guiding clients towards their long-term financial objectives? The Wealth Builder Investment Counselor position at Fisher Investments is designed to cultivate the next generation of investment professionals.

Exciting Opportunity:

This role serves as your gateway into the financial services industry. Fisher Investments offers an exceptional training program that provides you with a comprehensive education in finance and capital markets, equipping you with the skills to deliver our unique investment approach.

Your journey begins with obtaining the Series 65 license, accompanied by hands-on training from our dedicated support team. After you're licensed, you'll continue to work under the guidance of a mentor, gaining in-depth knowledge of the technology and platforms we use, and learning how to effectively service our clients.

This position is a stepping stone to a licensed service role in our Private Client Group. As you achieve key milestones in your first two years, you will have the opportunity to take on more responsibilities, potentially leading to a role in our Premier Wealth Management team where you can manage high-net-worth client relationships.

Your Daily Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with your team to serve clients effectively, acting as the connection between our Investment Policy Committee (IPC) and our clients.
  • Engage with clients to assess their asset allocation and ensure alignment with their long-term financial goals.
  • Cultivate trusting relationships, educating clients about our portfolio strategy, their investments, and significant market developments.
  • Manage client communications and work closely with internal departments to address operational requests.

What We're Looking For:

  • 1+ years of experience in a client-facing, operational, administrative, or finance role.
  • A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Readiness to complete the Series 65 exam, with robust training and support provided.
  • A consultative mindset that prioritizes client needs.

Why Choose Fisher Investments:

We are driven by a higher purpose: to enhance the investment landscape. Our inclusive culture, tailored learning and development opportunities, and recognition as a Great Place to Work make us proud. Our employees are our greatest asset, and we invest in them by providing outstanding benefits, including:

  • 100% paid medical, dental, and vision premiums for you and your qualifying dependents.
  • A 50% 401(k) match, up to the IRS limit.
  • 20 days of paid time off, plus 10 paid holidays.
  • Family support programs, including 8 weeks of paid primary caregiver leave, $10,000 for fertility and family-formation assistance, and backup care for children, adults, and elders.
  • This is an in-office position with potential eligibility for our hybrid work-from-home program based on tenure and performance. Please note that this program is subject to change.

Fisher Investments is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
