Global Project Manager-Relocation Industry
The Global Project Manager plays a critical role in leading cross-functional business initiatives and client project implementations, with a strong focus on execution, coordination, and stakeholder alignment. This is not a technical project management role while familiarity with technology and systems is important, this position emphasizes business operations, client project execution, and internal application rollouts.
The ideal candidate will manage a variety of projects, including client implementation and onboarding, as well as internal system and process improvements. Success in this role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with diverse internal and subject matter experts and external stakeholders.
Essential Job Functions
- Lead and coordinate client-facing implementation project, working closely with clients and internal cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Manage internal projects for business systems and processes, including change management and end-user adoption support
- Collaborate with leadership and business units to prioritize and execute strategic initiatives aligned with company goals.
- Translate business needs into actionable project plans, timelines, and outcomes
- Design efficient solutions by leveraging current and new technology
- Drive process improvements across teams using practical, scalable solutions
- Facilitate clear and consistent communication between stakeholders and project contributors
- Utilize project management tools and techniques to develop documentation to support effective project tracking and reporting
- Drive success with process governance using data and reporting
- Support compliance, training, and learning initiatives related to process changes and system enhancements
- Promote effective resource management and ensure alignment across departments/teams
- Provide insight and support for Experience Management initiatives by utilizing available data.
What This Role is Not
- This is not a technical PM or Agile/Scrum master role.
- The selected candidate will not manage developers or engineering sprints.
- Technical background is not required; experience with industry knowledge, application rollout, project management tools/training and business operations is more important.
Education
Bachelor's degree OR equivalent combination of experience, skills, training, and education.
Training and Experience
- Position requires global mobility experience (either direct or adjacent); ideally within an RMC
- Comprehensive knowledge of project management tools and practices
- Advanced knowledge of various software packages including but not limited to Microsoft products, e.g., Excel, is required
- Financial acumen to support financial system and process improvement projects
- Effective communication at all levels internally and externally, verbal and written
- 2 years of project management and contract administration is preferred
- Demonstrate exceptional organizational and relationship-building skills, attention to detail, and consistent accuracy
Work/Physical Environment
Office setting and/or home office work environment. Team members must be able to operate standard office equipment. Most of the work time is spent seated and working at a computer and on the phone.
