About the Internship

Integrated Environmental Solutions (IES) is seeking motivated UNT students interested in gaining hands-on experience in archeology and cultural resource management (CRM). No prior field or lab experience is required - training is provided by professional archaeologists.

Interns will assist with:

• Archeological field surveys and shovel testing
• Artifact processing and cataloging in the lab
• GPS data collection and basic mapping
• Data management
• Background research and project curation

This internship provides valuable exposure to basic archeological data collection, laboratory, and methodological skills and will help students understand how archaeology supports environmental compliance and project planning.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in Anthropology or related major at UNT
• Interest in archeology, history, geography, or environmental science
• Ability to work outdoors and as part of a team
