You will work closely with engineers, project managers, and field technicians to support design and installation of systems across commercial, residential, and industrial projects.Location: Dallas TXPay Range: $60,000-$75,000 annually depending on experienceKey Responsibilities:Create detailed 2D/3D drawings and schematics for low voltage systems using CAD software(AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)Interpret and apply specifications, construction documents, and architectural/MEP drawings to generate accurate designs.Draft layout plans for systems such as telecommunications, security, CCTV, access control, fire alarm, and audio-visual installations.Coordinate with engineering and field teams to ensure constructability and compliance with project requirements and local codes.Assist in the development of as-built drawings and closeout documentation.Maintain drawing standards, file organization, and version control in accordance with company protocols.Support design revisions and change orders based on client or field feedback.Required Qualifications:Must have at least 5 years hands on experience in Structured Cabling and technology room buildout.Associate degree or technical certification in Drafting, Electrical Design, or related field.Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD required; Revit a plus)Understanding of low voltage systems and applicable codes (NEC, NFPA, BICSI standards).Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical documents.Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and electrical plans.Excellent time management and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience designing fire alarm, access control, and/or structured cabling systems.Familiarity with Revit MEP and BIM coordination practices.BICSI certification or training (e.g., RCDD, Technician).Experience in construction or electrical contracting environments.Work Environment:Primarily office-based with occasional site visits.Fast-paced project environment with Multiple deadlines.May require coordination with remote teams of subcontractors.Benefits:Medical, Dental, Vision plansFree Basic Life InsuranceVoluntary LifeShort and Long Term DisabilityCompany matched 401KPaid HolidaysPaid Time OffPlease note the selected candidate will be required to submit to full pre-employment background and drug screening.Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
