Essential Duties

  1. Assures meals are delivered to clients in accordance with established guidelines for safe meal delivery.
  2. Communicates with supervisor or routing coordinator on a daily basis to inform VNA of key events relating to quality such as pick up times, completion of routes, and client status.
  3. Assures compliance with delivery guidelines including adherence to state guidelines.
  4. Actively participates in performance improvement activities.
  5. Upon client request, acts as a liaison to report hazardous or unhealthy conditions to appropriate staff.
Working Conditions
  1. Environmental Conditions/Hazardous Exposure: Driving within 50+ mile radius; contingent upon current weather conditions.
  2. May involve exposure to unsanitary and unsafe conditions and in the event of community crime scenes.
  3. Hazardous Exposure: May include providing meal delivery in high risk areas and exposure to infectious diseases.
Physical Demands
  1. Capacity to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 50 pounds.
  2. Must be able to use stairs.
  3. Must be able to walk, stand, sit for extended periods, and enter sites without disability access.
  4. Clerical and administrative work requiring vision
  5. Manual dexterity to life agency bag and/or equipment
