What You Will Do

  • Technical leadership and execution of J-STD-001 Rev H compliance for SMT cleaning processes and other cleaning projects
  • Support current high-volume, high-mix production with on-site responsiveness to factory equipment, process, materials, and product problems
  • Develop and execute new product builds, typically with automated equipment, often requiring creative solutions for next-generation product designs
  • Ensure processes meet product quality requirements (J-STD-001, MIL-STD-883, MIL-PRF-38534, IPC, etc.)
  • Lead process improvement projects to boost factory productivity through new technologies and material qualification
  • Capitalize on equipment down-selection and integration to meet current and future business needs
  • Facilitate effective cross-functional communication of technical information

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and minimum 5 years of related experience
  • 1+ year knowledge of material properties and automated equipment
  • 2+ years of leading projects
  • 1+ year manufacturing experience with SMT and familiarity with J-STD-001
  • SMT cleaning experience
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment for 6+ hours per day
  • U.S. citizenship is required for access to program information

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, computer)
  • Self-motivated, proactive, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working effectively within a team
  • Data-driven problem solving and demonstrated ability to implement improvements
  • Process development and qualification experience, especially for batch cleaners
  • SPC, DOE, and data analysis experience; technical writing for operator instructions and qualification reports
