Location: Plano, TX

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain modern test automation scripts for Banking & Commercial Lending space, ensuring top-tier software quality and reliability, using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, Cucumber, and Appium
  • Experience with mobile testing frameworks (e.g., Espresso, XCUITest)
  • Provide regular automation development status updates and raise risk/impediment concerns to the QE Lead and Tech Lead so it can be reported and addressed.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of relevant / progressive work experience (in similar field and/or industry)
  • Lead the utilization and/or development of automation tools or scripts to improve product and engineering health.
  • Define the test framework, test preconditions, and other test control and reporting functions to enable others to test functionality.
  • Drive opportunities and lead efforts to improve existing test infrastructure or create new test infrastructure to increase efficiency and productivity in test case development, scheduling, or deployment.
  • Develop, configure, and own automation of a variety of test cases
  • In-depth knowledge of quality engineering methodologies, practices, and tools, including test automation frameworks.
  • Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies, and the ability to align quality engineering practices with these approaches.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • A broad understanding of software and data testing techniques and best practices
  • Experience working in IT delivery
  • Expertise in modern automation tools like Playwright, Karate - Must haves
  • Strong automation background, software engineer
