accountabilities:

  • Partner with teams to evaluate supplier contracts, cost structures, and savings opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support procurement strategies, cost-benefit analyses, and vendor negotiations.
  • Analyze spend data and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement initiatives with financial goals and operational needs.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages, including variance analysis and forecasting.
  • Support budgeting and planning cycles with detailed input on procurement-related expenses and capital projects.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards to track procurement and financial performance.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Support the selection and roll-out of a procure-to-pay platform

qualifications and requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, BI or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably with exposure to sourcing, procurement, or supply chain finance.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and procurement platforms (e.g., Coupa, Ariba) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Experience in leading process changes across an organization.
  • Medical industry experience preferred.
