ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Front-End Loader Operator, you will skillfully operate a straight or articulated rubber-tired tractor-type vehicle equipped with a hydraulically powered bucket or scoop to efficiently lift and transport bulk materials to and from storage or processing areas. This position is essential to our portable plant operations based in Frisco, TX.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

• Start the loader's engine, shift gears, press pedals, and turn the steering wheel to operate the vehicle. Utilize levers to lower and tilt the bucket, drive forward to gather bulk material, and then elevate and tilt the bucket to dump when filled.
• Follow assigned tasks from supervisors while adhering to standard procedures. Your work will be regularly inspected to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance on the loader, including lubricating, fueling, and cleaning to keep machinery in optimal condition.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with supervisors and customers, fostering a positive working relationship.
• Commit to adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies across all work settings, actively promoting a culture of safety.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Education: High School diploma or equivalent; relevant experience may substitute for formal education.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar operational role.

Requirements:

• Successful candidates are required to follow safety protocols and wear approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including respirators. Clean-shaven requirements apply for respirator fit tests.
