About the Role

Join our team as a highly experienced Director-level leader and take charge of delivering intricate data centre design and engineering projects. You will become an integral part of a specialist data centre team, collaborating closely on both Hyperscale and Colocation projects to serve our enterprise and commercial clients.

In this pivotal role, you will be the primary contact for a strategic client, overseeing technical delivery, commercial governance, and coordinating multidisciplinary design and engineering teams. Key Responsibilities

• Lead a diverse portfolio of data centre projects encompassing delivery, technical aspects, and commercial management.
• Act as the senior interface with clients, fostering alignment, trust, and establishing long-term strategic partnerships.
• Enhance commercial performance, manage risks, and ensure adherence to internal governance processes.
• Facilitate seamless delivery across architecture, engineering, and external supply chain partners.
• Guarantee quality, consistency, and technical excellence throughout all project phases.
• Chair project meetings, oversee reporting cycles, and communicate essential metrics to executive stakeholders.
• Manage resource planning, address technical challenges, and sustain project momentum.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Chartered Engineer or equivalent experience, with extensive technical expertise in data centre design and delivery.
• Proven success in leading multidisciplinary teams across AEC, MEP, and structural engineering sectors.
• Exceptional client relationship skills with a record of engaging senior stakeholders on high-value projects.
• Strong commercial insight and ability to manage project profitability, scope, and risk effectively.
• Experience in fast-paced, digitally enabled project settings with matrixed delivery teams.

Key Requirements

• Thorough understanding of building systems, codes, and construction methods relevant to data centre environments.
• Proficient in tools like Revit, Microsoft Office, and collaborative project management platforms.
• Capability to juggle multiple priorities and deliver results consistently in complex, multi-project environments.
