Sr. Director, Technical Program Management - Command Center Lead

Our TPM Sr. Directors have:

• Strong technical backgrounds (ideally building highly scalable platforms, products, or services) with the ability to proactively identify and mitigate technical risks throughout delivery life-cycle
• Experience building and leading a world-class team of technical program managers with a mission to power real-time, intelligent experiences for our customers and associates
• Lead technology focused discussions with senior leadership by providing valuable insights and recommendations that guide technology-based decisions
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
• Excellent problem solving and influencing skills
• A quantitative approach to problem solving and a collaborative implementer to holistic solutions; a systems thinker
• Experienced TPM leader to grow and develop a team of TPMs, while also building the foundations for the TPM practice
• Ability to simplify the technically complex and drive well-educated decisions across product, engineering, design, and data science representatives
• Deep focus on execution, follow-through, accountability, and results
• Exceptional cross-team collaboration; able to work across different functions, organizations, and reporting boundaries to get the job done
• Highly tuned emotional intelligence, good listener, and deep seated empathy for teams and partners

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• At least 9 years of experience managing technical programs

Preferred Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience designing and building data-intensive solutions using distributed computing
• 5+ years of experience in building distributed systems and highly available services using cloud computing services/architecture - preferably AWS
• 5+ years of building and leading an experienced TPM team
• 5+ years experience building highly scalable mobile products and platforms
• 5+ years of experience with Agile delivery
• 5+ years delivering large and complex programs where you own the business or technical vision, collaborate with large cross-functional teams, secure commitments on deliverables and unblock teams to land business impact
• Experience in building systems and solutions within a highly regulated environment
• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field (Computer Science, Software Engineering)
• MBA or Master's Degree in a related technical field (Computer Science, Software Engineering) or equivalent experience

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries are for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based on hours worked.

Plano, TX: $240,300 - $274,300 for Sr. Director, Technical Program Management

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range for that location and the actual salary offered will be shown in the offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non-discretionary depending on the plan.
