Job Description
The Office Assistant and Receptionist plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Frisco office. This position is responsible for managing front desk activities, coordinating office maintenance, supporting employee meetings and events, and providing general administrative support. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Greet visitors, maintain a visitor log, issue visitor badges, and assist with security protocols
Submit work orders for office repairs and maintenance
Monitor inventory levels of office and pantry supplies; place orders for approval
Assist with setup and breakdown of employee meetings and events
Coordinate catering for meetings and special events
Ensure cleanliness and organization of common areas including lobby, break rooms, conference rooms, and workspaces
Receive, log, and distribute incoming deliveries
Support new hire onboarding including desk setup
Provide general administrative and staff support as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Associate's degree preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience in an office setting
Customer service experience is a plus
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Reliable, punctual, and committed to excellent attendance
Ability to maintain confidentiality in a dynamic environment
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
