Catering Chef Walters Wedding Estates The chief role of the Catering Chef is to support the Hub Chef and Sous Chef. The job is to get the right food, to the right place, at the right time and at the right temperature and cost. The Catering Chef activities include prepping, cooking, transporting and serving food. The Catering Chef must always dress professionally while on duty or on company property. What Youll Do: Takes direction for all day-to-day operations in the kitchen from the Hub Chef Perform and complete all assigned kitchen tasks without constant supervision Meets and/or exceeds established food preparation standards on a consistent basis. Practices the fundamentals of good cooking, preparation according to well-defined recipes, and excellent plating presentations while always discussing ways of improving the cuisine at the property.
