Job Summary

As a Pricing Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring pricing accuracy and integrity within our stores by updating pricing and shelf tag information. You'll also assist customers with inquiries and price verifications, contributing to a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and verify price tags using a handheld scanner to ensure accurate pricing on items.
  • Conduct regular price corrections by entering and updating pricing information in our systems.
  • Investigate missing items and run reports to address scanning discrepancies and prevent shrinkage.
  • Prepare, sort, and display price tags; ensure shelves are updated with accurate signage.
  • Ensure compliance with WIC tags according to company and government regulations.
  • Apply price changes from advertisements and manage clearance items responsibly.
  • Maintain scanning and computer equipment, reaching out to our Help Desk for assistance when needed.
  • Keep pricing information current and relevant in our computerized system.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and assisting with product location and price checks.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to safety procedures at all times.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy.
  • Capability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technology and processes.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with Fresh Item Management (FIM) and SAP reporting applications is a plus.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Flexibility to work various schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Education and Experience

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • This position typically requires on-the-job training.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to utilize both close and distance vision.
  • Frequent standing or walking.
  • Regular use of hands for reaching, touching, and handling.
  • Capability to bend, kneel, or squat frequently.
  • Occasionally required to lift objects up to 40 lbs.
  • Consistent attendance is mandatory.
