Overview

Sr Director, Product Managment - Growth at Tapcheck. Reporting directly to the VP of Product, this role is accountable for driving four key growth levers: increasing provider and partner collaborations, expanding the number of businesses offering Tapcheck's services, boosting employee access to financial wellness services, and enhancing employee enrollment, engagement, and retention through product and marketing innovations.

Role oversees Product Strategy and Delivery for all end-user product domains, including Consumer Apps (our Employer app and Employee apps on mobile and web), our MarkTech platform, our Experimentation Platform, and our ML/AI platforms. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in player/coach leadership, demonstrated excellence in research, modeling, entrepreneurship and mentoring product managers across various levels and disciplines. They should excel in storytelling and have the ability to inspire and lead a cross-functional growth organization in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will lead the Growth product group across four pillars: Partnership Growth; Enterprise Growth; SMB and Mid-Market Growth; New Product Growth.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with the VP of Product to define and execute a comprehensive B2B2C product growth strategy aligned with company objectives.
  • Drive revenue growth by optimizing registration and transfer growth while ensuring effective B2B growth and Card development.
  • Utilize data analytics to identify growth opportunities, track performance metrics, and optimize growth initiatives, focusing on the key metric of revenue / inferred live.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats to inform product growth decisions.
  • Build and lead a high-performing growth team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities while fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Work closely with product, engineering, marketing, and sales teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of growth strategies.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance user acquisition (across digital marketing, partnerships, and organic growth channels), engagement, retention, and loyalty, ensuring a seamless and valuable user experience.
  • Design and oversee A/B tests and other experiments to validate growth hypotheses, measure results, and drive continuous improvement.

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum of 15+ years in product management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the fintech or tech industry, including experience leading a product team of 5 or more members.
  • Experience leveraging growth loops to deliver high-impact revenue initiatives across both B2B and B2C domains, with a data-driven, experiment-focused mentality.
  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth for sizable product lines or businesses, with a strong track record of measurable success.
  • Understanding of growth models and loops to drive sustainable growth.
  • Mastery of Acquisition, Activation, Conversion, Retention, and Monetization strategies to optimize these key growth areas.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience in self-service data analysis (e.g., SQL) and performance tracking tools.
  • Deep Experimentation experience; knowledge of forming hypotheses, setting up tests, measuring results, and iterating on learnings.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clarity from ambiguity and distill complex issues into easy-to-understand narratives.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and scaling product growth teams in a fast-paced environment, fostering innovation and achieving high performance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is highly preferred.

Note: This is a remote-friendly role. Ideally, candidates will sit in the listed states; however, geographic eligibility may allow fully remote arrangements depending on experience and business needs.

Compensation

Compensation: $265,000 - $280,000 + Bonus + Equity. The base salary will depend on location, experience, training, knowledge, and skills. Tapcheck reserves the right to amend pay ranges and benefits offerings at any time.
