Manufacturing Chemist
Title: Manufacturing Chemist
Location: Lewisville, TX (75056)
Salary: $75,000 - $90,000
We manufacture leading brands serving theHVAC/R and building-construction tades across North America. We're known for durable, innovative products and dependable support specializing in chemical manufacturing solutions tailored to industrial and commercial applications.
What You Will Be Doing
- Performing product quality control testing and updating QC protocols.
- Developing new formulations and evaluating existing ones to support product innovation and improvement.
- Maintaining and updating Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
- Ensuring compliance with EPA, DOT, OSHA, and internal safety standards.
- Preparing and submitting regulatory reports (e.g., FIFRA, HazMat, Tier II).
- Supporting production teams with troubleshooting and process optimization.
- Collaborating across lab and manufacturing teams to ensure product consistency and safety.
What You Need For This Job
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2 years in chemical manufacturing, product development, or quality control.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of EPA, DOT, and compliance reporting requirements.
- Technical Skills: Ability to develop and refine chemical formulations; strong organizational and technical writing skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with ISO or other quality management systems.
- Knowledge of process safety and chemical hazard assessments.
- Industry experience in one or more of the following:
- Liquid blending
- Food processing
- Paint or coatings manufacturing
- Personal care product manufacturing
- Aerosol production
- Oil/lubricants production
- Automotive or janitorial chemical production
