Provides technical advice and expertise to systems development project groups in defining, developing, and reviewing existing, as well as proposed applications, for major computer systems; coordinates the activities between users, technicians, computer, and communication networks. Essential Functions Skilled in one or more programming languages used by FedEx. Strong human relations and communications skills. If position is in mainframe environment, also requires complex systems experience on IBM operating systems or microprocessors. Knowledge of software engineering principles.
