In this role, you will actively engage in hazardous waste clean-up, site remediation, equipment decontamination, and the handling of hazardous materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prioritize health and safety by adhering to our safety policies and procedures.
• Engage in physically demanding tasks including lifting and moving heavy objects.
• Operate light and heavy equipment, and utilize various hand and powered tools.
• Wear and appropriately use personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respirators and protective clothing.
• Work in a variety of environmental conditions, both indoors and outdoors.
• Handle potential exposure to various chemical and physical hazards.
• Manage lifting tasks in confined spaces and at heights using ladders and scaffolding.
• Assist with field sampling and calibrate meters as needed.
• Ensure safe loading and unloading of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes.
• Conduct waste stream sampling and profiling as necessary.
• Follow all local, state, and federal compliance regulations.
• Safely operate vehicles in accordance with all required guidelines.
• Attend compliance and safety meetings consistently.
• Be available for rotating on-call emergency response duties.
• Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Reliable transportation is a must.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks as outlined in responsibilities.
• Willingness to be on-call for emergency responses, which may occasionally require weekend and holiday work.
• Background check, drug test, and physical examination will be required.
• Compliance with OSHA's Respiratory Protection standards is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license.
• Previous experience in a relevant labor field.
