Responsible for directing aspects of the City's financial operations including accounting, accounts payable, payroll, and treasury functions. In this capacity, the position is expected to be a key staff member that will assist with developing and carrying out the department's strategic plan and citywide financial policies and procedures. Essential Functions and Other Important Duties Oversees the preparation of citywide monthly and annual financial statements, accounts payable, payroll, and investing and debt activities. Assists in conducting special audits or periodic analysis of internal systems and makes recommendations to improve internal controls.
