This role is ideal for a detail-oriented legal professional with strong analytical skills and a passion for organization. Responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing emails and legal documentation to assess applicability under the company's records retention policy, categorizing, organizing, and ensuring proper handling of documents in accordance with legal and compliance standards, collaborating with internal stakeholders to clarify policy requirements and document classifications, and maintaining confidentiality and accuracy while managing sensitive information. Requirements include a Juris Doctor (JD) required, residency in California, strong attention to detail and ability to work independently, excellent organizational, research, and communication skills, and prior experience with document review, compliance, or records retention is a plus.
