Were looking for music and pop culture enthusiasts to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Part-Time Assistant Manager Level 1, youll support the store leadership team in providing excellent customer service, training new recruits, and supporting daily operations to meet sales targets.

What You'll Do

1. Provide an engaging shopping experience that encourages customer loyalty, leveraging your product knowledge and customer service skills.
2. Support store operations by stepping in on the sales floor and assisting the management team as needed.
3. Open and close the store responsibly, ensuring security and readiness.
4. Process sales transactions efficiently and use your fandom knowledge to promote additional sales through benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup.
5. Understand sales goals and KPIs such as UPT and ADT to help achieve store targets.
6. Assist with store layout changes, including planogram updates and merchandising.
7. Communicate fashion and music trends to management and HQ partners.
8. Work with store management to prevent theft and ensure store security.
9. Maintain organized stockrooms and tidy store environment.
10. Contribute to building a passionate, collaborative team to run the store effectively.
11. Perform any other duties assigned by your Store Leader.

What You'll Need

• At least 1 year of retail experience; passion for music and pop culture is a plus!
• Strong communication, time management, professionalism, and leadership skills.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds.
