Senior Superintendent - Bridge/Highway Construction

Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to lead field operations for bridge and highway construction projects, including DOT work. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience managing crews and subcontractors on bridge builds and roadway projects, with a strong understanding of safety, scheduling, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily field operations for bridge and highway projects
• Supervise crews, equipment, and subcontractors to ensure safe and productive work
• Coordinate scheduling, material deliveries, inspections, and site logistics
• Enforce compliance with DOT specifications and jobsite safety standards
• Work closely with Project Managers and Engineers to maintain project timelines and budgets
• Troubleshoot field issues and adapt plans as needed to keep work on track
• Maintain accurate field documentation, reports, and daily logs

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in bridge construction and highway/roadwork
• Strong knowledge of DOT standards and specifications
• Proven ability to lead and manage field teams on complex infrastructure projects
• Solid understanding of construction equipment, formwork, concrete placement, and staging
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
• OSHA certifications and/or safety training preferred
• Valid driver's license; ability to travel to job sites as needed
