Mandatory Experience - Cisco routing, Switching, wireless.

The position of a Network Data is responsible for the ongoing network operations and Project to provide 24x7 support. The ideal candidate will have deep experience of networking technologies, such as routing including hands-on experience on running routing protocol like BGP, EIGRP and OSPF; Load balancer (F5), switching, wireless networking; managing heterogeneous environment & generate metrics related to Network performance, capacity, availability, and will also have a strong background in network performance management, service delivery and strategic operations planning with a strong technical orientation & creative in problem solving.

Key responsibilities include:

1. This is a hands-on technical role.
2. Provide tier 2+ (professional level) operational support to resolve critical business issues that require deep network troubleshooting techniques and performance analysis.
3. Independently own the Network Infrastructure support solving complex issues and suggest design modifications as appropriate.
4. Resource must have good and vast knowledge and hands-on experience on Cisco Wireless.
5. Resource must have experience on LAN switching including troubleshooting various LAN related issues, like VTP, STP, and should know packet capture on various platforms.
6. Must have been working on multiple routing technologies and should be able to resolve issues related to BGP, EIGRP and OSPF.
7. Knowledge of maintaining DHCP servers.
8. Must know how to configure Cisco Switches, Routers and Wireless LAN Controllers.
9. Perform monitoring and maintenance of overall environment working with experienced team members.
10. Perform change controls. Update process documentation and team portals.
11. Participate in troubleshooting, capacity planning and analysis, performance analysis & Root Cause Analysis.
12. Communicate with peers and managers regarding system issues & participate in 24x7 on-call.
13. Automate operational tasks to make processes simpler and more robust.
14. Ability to handle multiple complex tasks in a dynamic environment, with tight deadlines concurrently.
15. Manage network service providers and matrixed resources.
16. Refresh heat-maps, create Visio and operations plans for campus networks, and all WAN, LAN, and WLAN connectivity.
17. Monitor and analyze statistical data to develop improvement plans for network and application performance.
