Position Summary The EDI / B2B Data Architect is a senior role in our Enterprise Applications group and responsible for the ongoing business analysis, development, implementation, and support of Argon's B2B operations, including ERP (QAD), EDI, XML, and other integrations. This role also functions as a liaison between our trading partners, internal teams, and 3rd party suppliers, as it relates to electronic partner transactions, increasing awareness and creating synergy in B2B transactions for the organization. This position tracks B2B performance, analyzes trends through those measures, identifies gaps within the processes, makes recommendations, and takes appropriate action to implement solutions that positively impact the organization. Responsibilities Provide subject matter expertise for EDI transactions to customer support teams, trading partners, and IT team Analyze business requirements for inbound and outbound EDI/B2B and develops functional specifications Manage Trading Partner implementation initiatives and EDI testing Set up and maintain trading partnerships (setup EDI communications, setup EDI partners in translator, setup and maintain EDI contacts and profiles Create and maintain translation maps for EDI transactions Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day EDI processing issues for internal and external customers Identify and resolve root cause of problems in a multi-vendor, multi-provider and multi-component environment Requirements Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required 5+ years of ERP and EDI experience within a manufacturing or distribution environment EDI communications experience required (Direct, VAN, AS2, FTP/SFTP) EDI integration experience with ERP systems (QAD preferred) Strong and effective analytical skills Nice to Have's SQL query development experience desired Good understanding of ERP systems as they relate to EDI Project management with emphasis in operations #J-18808-Ljbffr
