Job Summary: The IT Project Manager leads and oversees strategic IT initiatives, with particular emphasis on M&A integrations, infrastructure projects, and application interoperability. This individual is responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and stakeholder expectations. The role demands outstanding communication skills tailored to functional areas ranging from interfacing effectively with executives, IT teams, application teams and vendors. Candidate must be local to the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area and be able to commute to our corporate HQ in Frisco, TX. Supervisory Responsibilities: Must be able to influence decisions in a matrixed organization. Prioritize projects and forecast demands to ensure appropriate capacity within organization. Duties/Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end IT projects with a focus on M&A integrations, internal IT projects, application upgrades, cybersecurity initiatives, etc. to ensure seamless integration of IT systems, infrastructure, and EMR platforms. Create a project management intake structure with a framework for prioritizing the most important projects. Develop detailed project plans, resource allocation, budgets, and schedules. Lead regular project meetings with executives, IT staff, application teams, and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and progress updates. Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively. Maintain detailed project documentation, including status reports, risk logs, and decision registers. Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Work closely with IT infrastructure teams to coordinate server migrations, network integrations, and security compliance as part of M&A activities. Collaborate with clinical and operational stakeholders to understand EMR systems and define integration points to ensure interoperability post-merger. Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams to translate business needs into IT solutions. Partner with vendors and external consultants as needed to deliver complex integration efforts. Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Local to the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to tailor messaging to executive audiences and technical teams. Proven ability to manage large-scale IT projects, particularly M&A integrations involving infrastructure and application/EMR systems. Understanding of the breadth of IT infrastructure, including networking, servers, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and systems architecture. Solid knowledge of EMR systems and the technical integration points relevant for healthcare environments. Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working with ambiguity and driving projects to completion despite challenges. Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., , Smartsheets, etc) and Microsoft Office Suite. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of IT project management experience, preferably within healthcare or related industries. Direct experience managing M&A integration projects involving IT infrastructure and EMR systems is preferred. PMP, PMI-ACP, or similar project management certification preferred. Physical Requirements: Ability to travel domestically as needed for project related activities. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
