Risk Governance Technical Analyst
Location: Frisco, TX (Hybrid Schedule)
Contract Duration: 6 months + extensions
Pay Rate: $46.30/hour (W2)
Overview:
We're seeking a Risk Governance Technical Analyst to join the Key Risk Indicator (KRI) Governance Program at a major financial institution. In this role, you'll support risk governance efforts by managing documentation, performing data reconciliation, and providing technical writing and administrative support to senior stakeholders. This is a hybrid position requiring in-office work at the Frisco, TX location 1–5 days per week (based on team needs).
Key Responsibilities:
Support the governance and oversight of the Key Risk Indicator (KRI) program.
Monitor and manage a shared group mailbox, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups.
Coordinate with executives and stakeholders to gather, verify, and finalize KRI reporting data.
Interpret and draft policy and procedural documentation for clarity and compliance.
Respond to email inquiries and data requests related to monthly and quarterly reporting cycles.
Reconcile KRI data across various sources to ensure consistency and accuracy.
Develop and maintain Excel-based reports (including pivot tables) and other tracking tools.
Identify opportunities to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the KRI program.
Draft technical documentation, business communications, and process guides.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in risk management, governance, or related areas.
Strong proficiency in technical/business writing, especially for policies and procedures.
Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, data management).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to work with high-level executives.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Experience with data validation, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
Familiarity with risk frameworks and governance principles.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk, or related field required.
