Position: Senior Analyst - Credit Risk Management

As a Senior Analyst, you will wear multiple hats, requiring strong analytical skills, project management, presentation skills, and the ability to develop effective relationships. You will work independently or with a team to identify credit segmentation opportunities using statistical methods, enhancing our credit decision processes, collections, and fraud strategies. Collaboration within the Credit Risk Management team and other departments is essential for deploying, analyzing, and tracking new credit strategies.

You must be skilled in manipulating large data sets, extracting insights, and communicating actionable recommendations clearly. You will participate in projects from hypothesis generation to implementation, contributing as a credit data expert, analytic methodology specialist, and primary statistician.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and monitor credit attributes from external credit bureau and internal customer data.
  2. Design and maintain credit risk models focused on prediction accuracy and financial impact.
  3. Use statistical segmentation to identify new opportunities.
  4. Analyze credit policies to ensure financial goals are met.
  5. Create predictive models using trend and regression analysis.
  6. Analyze data and products from external vendors.
  7. Perform loss forecasting analysis.
  8. Extract and transform data from multiple sources.
  9. Analyze credit bureau and alternative data.
  10. Deliver outputs within project timelines.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or related field (Required)
  • Master's or PhD preferred

Experience:

  • 5+ years in quantitative modeling or related process management
  • Proficiency in SAS or similar statistical software
  • Proficiency in SQL, C++, Python, R
  • Excellent skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills
  • Effective time management and project management awareness

Preferred Experience:

  • Consumer risk management experience
  • Wireless/Telecom industry experience

Base Pay Range: $84,600 - $152,600
Bonus Target: 10%
