Minimum Requirements

• Knowledge in Cisco Devices Models for routers, switches, Controllers, Access Points
• CCNA certification routing and switching desirable, additional certifications will be a plus
• Basic cabling knowledge types of fibers and SFPs used for them

The tasks in the staging area of the warehouse are:

• Unbox the hardware received for a specific site
• Power up the devices
• Share with the network team output commands via email with the details to whitelist the router and get it added in vmanage and get the license for switches reserved
• Perform IOS upgrades in the devices according to standards
• Configure the scripts in router, switches, and controllers
• Connect the devices between them to test connectivity
• Connect access points in the switches to check connectivity with the controller
• Collect testing logs of the staging
• Label all the devices with the hostname
• Turn off the devices and package for shipment
• Create the label and leave all in the dock for UPS pick-up

In addition to these tasks, the resource will be helping with the rack and stack and connectivity for servers in PDC, where there is a router and switch where servers are connected for remote build.
