Position reports to Tetra Pak office at 3300 Airport Rd., Denton, TX 76207 or 600 E. Bunker Ct., Vernon Hills, IL 60061, but will work at various unanticipated work locations throughout the U.S.
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.

What you will do

As a Service Engineer, you will:

  • Conduct preventive maintenance activities for Tetra Pak packaging and processing equipment following global procedures.
  • Reinstate equipment into production environments as per expectations.
  • Execute installation tasks, including assembly of Tetra Pak systems and upgrading kits.
  • Report technical issues promptly and accurately.
  • Communicate with relevant staff about service activities and issues affecting customer satisfaction and quality.
  • Identify and report business opportunities at customer sites.
  • Promote good relationships with customers and uphold Tetra Pak's reputation.
  • Complete technical reports accurately and timely, ensuring proper distribution and handover.
  • Follow safety and quality standards, escalate safety or quality issues.
  • Provide on-site/off-site operator and mechanical training.
  • Maintain troubleshooting databases and perform fault-finding services onsite and remotely.
  • Support installation and troubleshooting remotely when off-site.
  • Maintain accurate time entries and service reports, communicate via email.
  • Provide emergency support on a 24-hour rotational basis.

We believe you have

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology Management, Information Technology, Dairy Science, or related field, with 3 years of relevant experience.

Experience in:

  • Electrical equipment from 24 to 600 volts, including motors, sensors, actuators, and control systems.
  • Allen Bradley automation, PLCs, inverters, and servos using RS Logix 500, 5000, and Studio.
  • Mechanical troubleshooting and rebuilding (seals, bearings, chains, belts, cams, pneumatics, pumps, valves).
  • Training customers on automated food processing equipment.
  • Reading electrical schematics, P&IDs, and mechanical drawings.

Pay Equity

Salary range: $87,547 to $112,466 USD, based on experience, skills, and location. Includes performance bonuses, benefits, and allowances.
