Our client, a multinational telecommunications company, is seeking Cloud Virtualization Engineers to design and optimize cloud-native environments, focusing on automated deployment and recovery. The role involves leveraging expertise in Kubernetes, KubeVirt, Linux hypervisors, and automation tools like Ansible and Terraform, with an emphasis on cloud-native infrastructure over VMware.

Must Have

• Experience with Telecom customers
• Knowledge of KubeVirt, VMware, and Hyper-V
• Experience managing Kubernetes clusters and Linux systems
• Proficiency in Python, Shell scripting, Perl, Ruby

Key Responsibilities

• Design, install, and administer containerized virtualization environments using KubeVirt, VMware, and Hyper-V
• Manage Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability, security, and performance
• Administer and optimize Linux systems for virtualized and containerized workloads
• Develop automated solutions for monitoring, scaling, and infrastructure analysis using Ansible and Terraform
• Forecast capacity needs and recommend architecture upgrades
• Develop automated incident response mechanisms, monitor system metrics, and participate in on-call rotations

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 4+ years of relevant virtualization and cloud-native experience
• 2+ years managing virtualization technologies like KubeVirt, VMware, Hyper-V across data centers

Additional Skills

• Hands-on Kubernetes and Linux administration experience
• Automation scripting proficiency in Python, Shell, Perl, Ruby
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible in CI/CD pipelines
• Support experience for bare-metal, virtual, and storage systems
• Experience with large-scale virtualization environments
