Mortgage Post-Closing Processor JOB SUMMARY:The Post-Closing Processor is responsible for executing key operational tasks in support of loan finalization, investor delivery, and servicing transfers. This role ensures accurate and timely processing of post-closing documentation, task creation in LoanServ, and coordination with internal departments to meet investor and regulatory requirements. Also, responsible for all due diligence and process management routines related to the transfer of servicing, collateral, compliance notifications, cashflow, document images, and reporting. Responsible for providing regular summaries, statuses, and lessons learned to the Management team.Mortgage Post-Closing Processor ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (RESPONSIBILITIES):* Participates in all due diligence activities from transfer initiation through to the transfer date, post transfer or acquisition of loans, including review of any transfer agreements and servicing transfer instructions.* Prepares auditable project documentation of all transfer projects, including due diligence activities, data mapping reviews, and transfer/project impact assessments. Conducts all day-to-day workflow in conjunction with servicing transfers and acquisitions* Works with management team as well as other internal business channels to ensure purchasers/buyers are informed and any transfer/project updates are addressed.* Ensures all appropriate/applicable Agency forms, approvals, and instructions are reviewed and completed for service releases and acquisitions.* Reviews, research, monitors, and follow up to resolve discrepancies, errors and reporting differences throughout any service releases/acquisitions, ensuring compliance with investor and agency guidelines.* Creates and maintains CIT tasks in LoanServ for service release and investor transfer requests, ensuring completion within required timelines.* Coordinates with Collateral & Delivery and Transactions teams to ensure accurate transfer of loans during released transfers.* Maintains clear and current documentation in BytePro and internal systems to support audit readiness and investor inquiries.* Supports Transactions and Special Programs processes, including communication with investors and internal stakeholders.* Leverages knowledge of origination workflows to validate document accuracy, identify discrepancies, and ensure seamless transition from origination through releasing of loan.* Exercises awareness with regard to possible suspicious activity, money laundering or fraudulent behavior and reports any such incidents to the BSA department.
