Our client, a leading player in the restaurant industry , is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join their team in Plano, TX. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be part of the procurement department supporting various strategic sourcing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Procurement Specialist
Location: Hybrid - Plano, TX 75024 (Remote flexibility considered)
Pay Range: $30-$33/hour + Benefits (based on experience)
Job Function:
- Lead and manage end-to-end Request for Proposal (RFP) processes for various categories.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define sourcing strategies and requirements.
- Analyze supplier proposals and support vendor selection and negotiation.
- Maintain procurement documentation and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Strong understanding of RFP processes and vendor management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with procurement tools is a plus.
