Summary:

Under the general direction of the Vice President, Technology Solutions, the Sr. Director, Technical Administration is responsible for all technical administration from a project and production support standpoint across all systems supporting Cencora Distribution Services, Patient Services, and Corporate functions. This includes SAP Applications (S/4HANA, PO, Fiori, Solution Manager, BTP, LVM, HANA Cockpit, SLT, DS/IS, SAP Data Intelligence/DataSphere, Cloud Connector, HANA DB) and third-party applications such as Opentext Exstream, Archive Center, Vertex, Vendavo, Redwood RunMyJobs, Apache Tomcat, NGINX/Squid proxy. The role oversees a team providing Level 2 and 3 support and develops technology roadmaps to guide the organization's future in this area.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage SAP Basis issues related to Architecture, Infrastructure, Deployment, and Support.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers to understand business needs.
• Develop and implement IT strategies and initiatives supporting business goals.
• Manage service delivery lifecycle and support business strategy development.
• Participate in IT budgeting and financial analysis.
• Identify opportunities for process and service improvements and implement them.
• Ensure compliance with standards, governance, and performance metrics.
• Improve business processes for efficiency, quality, and output.
• Maintain customer relationships and ensure high-quality service.
• Develop and implement technologies to enhance business performance and profitability.
• Support internal SLAs and foster positive communication and morale within teams.
• Set and document team objectives aligned with organizational goals.
• Participate in performance assessments, recognition, and organizational practices.
• Lead end-to-end deployment of SAP workloads and cloud migrations, working closely with platform and cloud teams.
• Manage SAP landscape performance, capacity, and security compliance.
• Stay updated on SAP technology trends and coordinate software consistency across landscapes.
• Participate in IT change management and interface with SAP support as needed.

Educational & Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent, with SAP and Cloud certifications. Minimum 10 years of experience in architecture design, SAP implementation, and infrastructure operations. Proven leadership in team management and project delivery.

Minimum Skills & Experience:

• Hands-on SAP Basis experience with S/4HANA migration.
• Strong strategic and operational planning skills.
• Experience in large-scale environments, change management, and vendor relations.
• Deep knowledge of databases (Oracle, HANA, MSSQL, Postgres), infrastructure, and SAP networking.
• Proficiency in scripting, automation, DevOps tools, and cloud solutions like Azure.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and team collaboration skills.

Salary Range*

$152,500 - 235,180 (varies by location and experience). This reflects a national average; actual salaries may vary by state.
