We are currently seeking a AWS Architect - US Remote w/Travel to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

Additionally, we are looking for a Digital Engineering Lead Engineer to join our US team. This position is remote with a travel component approximately once a month to the client's headquarters in Dallas, TX.

2. Collaborate on the development and testing of DevOps solutions for automation, infrastructure, and configuration management.
3. Guide design and architecture discussions.
4. Mentor other engineers on the project team.
5. Follow good development practices including automated testing, code reviews, and effective documentation.
6. Lead conversations and guide customers in realizing business value.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in AWS architecture.
• 3+ years experience in DevOps and automation.
• 10+ years total IT experience.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in migration, architecture, AWS security, and cost optimization.
• Project planning experience with developers.
• Understanding of application structures and infrastructure planning.
• Experience creating cloud products (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Designing and developing in AWS environments.
• Implementing microservices architecture.
• Moving large databases to cloud platforms.
• Experience with TeleForm, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS CloudFormation.
• Providing cloud design recommendations based on business goals.
• Designing and developing complex cloud solutions.
• Utilizing software engineering concepts and processes.
• Supporting support issues and recommending standards.
• Researching emerging technologies.
• Carrying out disaster recovery planning.
• Automating deployment and work processes.
• Detecting and fixing bugs.
• Creating product features and selecting the best cloud tech stack.
• Bringing products to market and updating post-release.
• Continuous learning of DevOps and AWS updates.
• Strong problem-solving skills with coding/scripting (Python, Groovy, Shell, Java).
• In-depth AWS experience.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.) and container orchestration (ECS, EKS, Kubernetes).
• Experience with Configuration Management tools (Ansible, Chef, etc.).
• Full stack design and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• AWS Professional Certifications.

Salary range for this remote role is $130,000 - $165,000, depending on experience and location. Benefits include health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.
