What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop code that interacts with state-of-the-art large language models (LLMs)
- Write, test, and iterate prompts for LLMs using legal domain knowledge
- Collaborate with legal professionals and internal teams to gather and comprehend requirements
- Integrate language models into multi-step systems, assessing their performance and making modifications
- Develop code that interacts with data sources and services (APIs, SQL databases, etc.)

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 to 4 years of production-level experience in software engineering on an engineering/product team
- Legal domain expertise, with experience in legal practice or as a JD-holder in a non-traditional legal career path
- Proficiency in C# .NET or Python, with strong experience in other programming languages if necessary
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience using large language models through code, such as model services from OpenAI, Anthropic, or Cohere
- Paralegal or other legal industry experience
