Job description: We are seeking a data architect to join our early-stage data team, leading data design and architecture efforts across the organization. This role involves collaborating with broad data, non-technical, and executive stakeholders to develop the enterprise data model, ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, cloud data storage, data integrations, and BI/analytics. Extensive domain knowledge in architecture, design, performance, database management, engineering, and analytics is required. Candidates must have prior experience working in an architectural capacity, collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements, develop plans, and execute.

This is a hybrid position (1-2 days/week) in Plano, TX.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years of total experience
• 3+ years in Data Architecture
• Data domain knowledge
• Cloud data architecture
• ELT/ETL
• Databases & data warehousing
• Performance management

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Relevant degrees & certifications (cloud architecture, computer science, MBA, etc.)
• Industry exposure to manufacturing or industrial sectors

Daily Responsibilities:

• 40% Hands-on work
• 10% Management duties
• 50% Team collaboration

Expected salary: $160,000 – $185,000 per year
