The Principal Engineer, Cloud Hardware is a technical leader responsible for defining best practices, optimizing, and influencing cloud hardware architecture to support T-Mobile's computer, networking, and storage environments. This role integrates high-performance hardware solutions, including processors, storage systems, PCB - As, power systems, and networking equipment, ensuring scalability, security, and operational efficiency. The Principal Engineer solves complex cloud-hardware challenges, leads vendor engagement, and contributes to technical strategy. Determines methods and procedures for new assignments, works independently, and provides guidance to engineering teams.
