Job Details

To provide for the safe movement of children to and from school when crossing public roadways and intersections by observing gaps in the traffic and leading the children across the roadway or intersection. Examples of Duties Assists elementary school children in crossing the street at designated intersections in a safe and orderly manner. Places traffic cones in the street before school begins and removes at end of school as needed. Notifies Law Enforcement of real or potential hazards and pedestrian accidents in the vicinity. Ability to get along with customers and co-workers, including establishing friendly relations and maintaining order among elementary school children. Ability to work in all weather conditions and be extremely dedicated to child safety. Regular and punctual attendance is required. Performs other related duties as required.
