Job Details

Patient care: Provide professional pastoral and spiritual care to patients and their loved ones, using excellent listening, observational, assessment, and interventional skills. Assess patient and family spiritual resources and vulnerabilities, offering corresponding interventions. Document care in electronic medical record, using Pastoral Care standardized processes. Ability to respond to calls within 10 minutes and arrive within 30 minutes. Provide on-call report when called into the hospital. Support Pastoral Care Department: Report payroll exceptions promptly. Participate in Pastoral Care staff meetings. Be knowledgeable of and comply with all Pastoral Care Department policies and procedures. Complete required Pastoral Care Department training and any My. Talent modules when assigned.
