We're Hiring: Assistant Director The Goddard School of Corinth

Are you a passionate early childhood professional with a talent for leadership? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director to join our thriving childcare center and help guide our team in providing exceptional care and education to young children.

Position Overview:

As the Assistant Director, you will work closely with the Center Director to manage day-to-day operations. This includes supporting staff development, ensuring regulatory compliance, engaging with families, and maintaining a warm, welcoming, and developmentally appropriate environment for children.

You will serve as a role model for our teamsomeone who brings energy, professionalism, and a genuine love for early learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily oversight of classroom activities and staff schedules
  
  
• Maintain compliance with state licensing and health & safety regulations
  
  
• Support the hiring, training, and evaluation of staff members
  
  
• Help implement curriculum and ensure high-quality educational experiences
  
  
• Act as a liaison with families, fostering strong relationships and open communication
  
  
• Step into leadership responsibilities in the Director's absence
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of childcare management or supervisory experience
  
  
• Associate or Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field) strongly preferred
  
  
• Knowledge of licensing standards and quality childcare practices
  
  
• Strong organizational and time management skills
  
  
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  
  
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
  
  
• A flexible, team-first attitude and a passion for working with children and families
